In the book of James, the bible makes an amazing statement about the things we desire to have. It says we desire these things but do not have them because we do not ask in prayer.
In James 4, the bible says:
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. – James 4:2-3
The bible then goes on to further explain and says in James 4:3 that we ask and do not receive because we ask for things that are purely for our own benefit and do not glorify God. From this scripture, we understand that God expects us to ask him for the things we need and also for the things we want.
Asking God for the things we need or want is not a sin. Doing so is a sign of our faith in His ability to provide those needs for us.
We have set up this Prayer Request page because God wants to provide for you as His child and He wants you to ask Him for whatever you need. Also, we believe that there is a corporate anointing that becomes available when others pray together with you in faith. The bible says:
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. – Matthew 18:19
Therefore, we would like to pray with you about whatever your prayer needs may be. We believe God will answer your prayer requests with speedy answers in Jesus name.
