“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” It means what you don’t know can destroy you, make you shrink, become a failure or embarrass you a great deal.
The place of knowledge cannot be over emphasized in all areas of life. For personal and corporate career success, you need knowledge.

What you don’t know can kill you, but what you have knowledge of free you forever
“And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32.)

Knowledge actually increases your ability to perform excellently well in any choice career.
You need knowledge to keep every part of your body alive, including your brain.
What then is knowledge?
It is the acquisition of Information. In other words knowledge informs to form and shape you. It is the most powerful tool for transformation. The more information you have at your disposal, the more successful you become. Information is the gateway for advancement; one of the key factors in pursuit of destiny, so you need to be well informed to be empowered.

To all young men and women, I challenge you to pursue true knowledge that will inform to empower your thought patterns, attitude and character.
The knowledge of the Football Premier League for some of our youth has eaten them up so much so that they keep failing in the classroom. Some others waste their destinies by watching 190-in-1 DVD films; some others go on the net looking for internet dates.  Wake-up!  God is waiting to help you out. You can be transformed for a better life.

How do I get this knowledge?
1. You must be identified with the giver of knowledge: That means you must be born again because that is the only thing that qualifies you for true knowledge.
“For the Lord giveth wisdom out of his mouth cometh knowledge” (Proverbs 2:6)
“As for these four children God gave them knowledge…” (Daniel 1:17)
Just as he gave these ones wisdom and knowledge, you may not receive of Him until you identify with Him.
2. You must show thyself approved unto God; a workman that needed not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth (II Tim 2:15). In other words, you must be an avid reader, so keep the book open. That is the only way to keep your knowledge bank open for constant information that will form your life and destiny.

3. Use the “net” not for “yahoo yahoo” or for internet fraud, rather use the Internet is a bank of information designed to keep you abreast in all sphere of life. It is not only for e-mailing so go ahead and use the internet to update your knowledge. Remember that all knowledge acquired is due for overhauling in 18 months. God bless you.
