As I try to wrap up this subject, a man is given the responsibility to love the wife, involving respecting and cherishing her; and the woman – the responsibility of submitting to the husband, regarding and obeying him. This I believe was given because, in the process of human organization, man is very prone to learning how to submit even when he doesn’t necessarily agree with the ideas and ideals of the person he is to submit to – this happens mainly in superior–subordinate relationships and the woman has no challenge with love, it is part of her wiring, in normal circumstances she loves because she has been created to love; so the responsibilities were given to ensure that the man learns what he is not used to loving the woman, and the woman ensures that she learns what she won’t do on a normal day, parting with are ideologies and giving room to accommodate the ideas of a man from an entirely different background. In my opinion, this is the primary basis, on which a successful home is built, if both partners understand their roles in the home, they’ll successful live together inculcating the right principles into the kids that result from the union.
In conclusion, when the purpose of the family is known and the responsibilities primary partners in the family is understood, the family begins to provide the right guidance to the community they live in on what homes should be and in no time at all the larger society gets the ideals of what a family should be, and get the much leadership and guidance for growth and development in the society.
The corruption in the society started from the home, where children were not taught contentment, went off to start their homes, the guys taught to lead false lives by their main mentors – the fathers, the ladies taught deceit and contempt from their major mentors – the mothers, this they believe is done with the best interest of their kids at heart, but are unconscious of the destructive nature of the ideals they plant into these kids; the union of such guys and ladies, bring kids who are better schemers than their parents, hence corruption eats deep into the reins of the society, and seems to be part of the human DNA in societies where the right family ideals are not inculcated.
I have attempted to share (in my opinion) the importance of setting the right platform and foundation on which the family should be built and then process of building a successful home – through the understanding of the responsibilities of the primary partners of the homes; the patterns the kids in successful home see, will most likely be the patterns they take to their own homes.
Remember the primary purpose of the family is dominion and fruitfulness, a platform on which the right leadership and guidance for the society is powered, when there is a proper understanding of what the roles of the primary partners in the union. Let your home be the place where hopes and dreams can be realized, a place of peace and joy and a place of fun. What will it be with your family – your home? Go and be the BEST!
