Both pair of eyes are red shot, One with tears, the other with emotions. Both hearts now face the battle, They must cross the bridge and overcome the fears brought by being separated.
He tries to be the man, He finds his voice first and almost silently whispers: “I promise, I’ll be back for you.” She can’t help but be the woman, Her voice is lost in the heat of emotions. She briefly nods, fighting hard to keep the tears from flowing.
The time finally comes, The good-bye’s must be said and done. Emotion is at its climax. Eyes filled with emotion stare into each others, For the last time in months to come. Words fail to express desire, Perhaps a hug will do…
Many thoughts flood the mind, Memories of the birth of love, The growth of friendship, And of the future…TOGETHER! The embrace comes to an end, She finally finds her voice “I’ll call you first thing tomorrow.” Now he’s lost his voice. Clearing his throat, His heart mutters from within “I love you.”
She concurs vehemently. Eyes jam, hearts are knit, Words are lost again And another warm embrace Brings to an end a chapter in the book of love Being written by the unity of two.
For A While…

Both pair of eyes are red shot,
One with tears, the other with emotions.
Both hearts now face the battle,
They must cross the bridge and overcome the fears brought by being separated.
He tries to be the man,
He finds his voice first and almost silently whispers:
“I promise, I’ll be back for you.”
She can’t help but be the woman,
Her voice is lost in the heat of emotions.
She briefly nods, fighting hard to keep the tears from flowing.
The time finally comes,
The good-bye’s must be said and done.
Emotion is at its climax.
Eyes filled with emotion stare into each others,
For the last time in months to come.
Words fail to express desire,
Perhaps a hug will do…
Many thoughts flood the mind,
Memories of the birth of love,
The growth of friendship,
And of the future…TOGETHER!
The embrace comes to an end,
She finally finds her voice
“I’ll call you first thing tomorrow.”
Now he’s lost his voice.
Clearing his throat,
His heart mutters from within
“I love you.”
She concurs vehemently.
Eyes jam, hearts are knit,
Words are lost again
And another warm embrace
Brings to an end a chapter in the book of love
Being written by the unity of two.
